MANGO SALSA
The third part of my Mexican quartet series is my mango salsa! This quartet contains guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa, and now mango salsa.
This mango salsa contains a wonderful combination of ingredients that are fresh, juicy, sweet, tangy, and healthy. Not only you can serve it as a quartet, you can also serve it on top of your Mexican inspired salads, tacos, burrito bowls etc. It is quite a versatile dish.
It has very few ingredients but it hits the punch. It’s simple and easy to make!
I hope you enjoy!

MANGO SALSA RECIPE
prep time: 15 minutes
portion: 4-6 servings
INGREDIENTS
2 ripe mango, peeled and diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 jalapeño, diced finely
1 bunch of fresh cilantro, finely minced
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2-3 lime juice
salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a medium-large sized bowl, combine the diced mangos, red peppers, jalapeño, and cilantro.
Drizzle olive oil, and squeeze in fresh lime juice. Gently mix all the ingredients together until evenly combined.
Add salt and pepper to your taste. Try a small spoonful of the mango salsa and add more lime juice if you want more citrus flavour.
PRO TIPS
If you are preparing the mango salsa ahead of time, add salt and pepper just before you serve. Salt draws out water from the mangos and the vegetables so by the time when you serve it, it will be soggy.
