EASY 10-MINUTE SALSA
As last part of my Mexican quartet dipping series, I’m introducing to you the easiest salsa that you can throw together. It will literally take you no more than 10 minutes!
It has a slightly smoky flavour with very few ingredients in minutes that will go so well with your tortilla chips and it fits so perfectly with the rest of my dipping quartet! It’s fabulous!
I hope you enjoy!

EASY 10-MINUTE SALSA RECIPE
prep time: 10 minutes
portion: 3-5 servings
INGREDIENTS
1 can (450g) of whole tomatoes, drained
1 clove garlic
1 green onion, chopped
handful of cilantro leaves
1 jalapeño, devein & deseed
1 lime juice
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tbsp maple syrup (honey substitute)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin
salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Into a food processor, add tomatoes, green onion, garlic, cilantro, and jalapeño. Pulse several times until all the ingredients are chopped evenly. But, not too much that it becomes a soupy consistency. Pour the salsa into a serving bowl.
Into the salsa, drizzle olive oil and maple syrup, squeeze in fresh lime juice, add cumin and smoked paprika. Gently mix all the ingredients together until evenly combined.
Add salt and pepper to your taste. Try a small spoonful of the salsa and add more lime juice if you want more citrus flavour.
